Grande Alaska Lodge

Debbie is awesome! She came to our rescue when our original hotel turned out to be horrible. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a place to stay. We were able to stay at 2 different bnb and both were great. Thank you Debbie.

The accommodations were outstanding and the food was unbelievable. The staff at the lodge and the boat crews at J-dock made every effort possible to ensure that each guest had not just a good experience but one that they would never forget. I would give 6 stars but the ratings stop at 5!

Stay here when you can!! Everything was first class and clean-clean. the Lodge has a great Alaskan feel and the Decor was wonderful, almost as good as Debbie's food!!! A big plus was the boots of any size you needed to be on a fishing boat and cold storage for your food to take fishing-hiking.

We would like to thank Kamell and your staff for making our first Alaksa fishing trip just a wonderful, fun, carefree and successful experience. We were all very impressed by how well organized and run your entire operation is from the beautiful Grande Alaska Lodge, Jdock, to the skippers and deck hands on the boats. All was very professional yet very friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed the meals prepared by Kara and Steven - very gourmet! The fishing was beyond what we had hoped for with many large fish caught each day. Our fish arrived here in CA in perfect condition and we are really enjoying our catch. This was a fabulous bucket list trip that will now be repeated in several years. We cannot wait to come back to the Grande Alaska Lodge. Thank you again for the great experience and memories. After being treated so underhandedly by Van Gilder and Mariner hotels this lodge was recommended by another local establishment. What a great place to stay! They immediately got a room ready for me after my rooms at the former hotels were sold to a higher bidder despite having a prepaid reservation. The Grand Alaska resort is spotless and the staff are fabulous. The food is delicious and there are snacks and drinks available in the large welcoming room upon arrival.

We just returned from what can only be described as the vacation of a life time. Kamel and his entire staff are very personable and you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. The accommodations are excellent and the food.... OMG, you are treated to gourmet dinners each night, and breakfast is waiting for you when you wake up as well as all the fixing for lunch. You are then shuttled down to the dock where your fishing boat is waiting. We were very fortunate to have fished on the Predator, captained by Will along with his awesome deck hands - Griffin, Tommy & Collins. They made sure your every need was taken care of on board. The captain is extremely dedicated to finding the best possible spots to find the big halibuts and salmon. Our daily catches where weighed and processed to perfection and packaged and ready for us to pick up the morning we left. Kamel, his staff and The Grande Alaskan Lodge far exceeded all me expectations and for that I will always be grateful for. We will be back for MANY years to come. This is the second time in two years we’ve stayed at the Grande Alaska Lodge in Seward, AK. It is a wonderful bed & breakfast and Debbie and Linda are incredible hosts. The lodge offers comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms. The breakfasts are yummy and they also provide lunches at a nominal cost. The lodge is conveniently located in walking distance between two of Seward’s free shuttle stops and for a short additional walk you are in town and at the small fishing harbour. The best part of the Grande Alaska Lodge is that you feel like you are home as it is a beautiful, warm and inviting place to stay with family and friends!

We had a great time at the lodge. Breakfast and dinner was awesome, love Linda’s and Larry’s cooking.we stayed in room #2, great view to the mountains, just a perfect scenery.We felt like home. Thank you so much.
